Tony Hawk’s blood-infused skateboards sell out in one hour for $500 each

It took only an hour for a hundred blood-infused skateboards to sell out in the market. Priced at $500 (P25,000) each, it contained none other than skateboard star Tony Hawk’s blood. 

“Apparently, I didn’t read the fine print, and now Liquid Death officially owns my soul, and my blood, too,” he said in a promotional video with Liquid Death Mountain Water. “I don’t know. It’s very confusing.”

His real blood was mixed into the paint for the background of its design, which was screen-printed by hand in Southern California. Each purchase came with a Certificate of Authenticity. 

“If you have my blood, that means you have my DNA,” declared Hawk. 

A tenth of the proceeds will go to 5 Gyres to help reduce plastic pollution and The Skatepark Project to contribute to the construction of skateparks in underserved communities.
