WATCH: 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim' PH version drops first trailer
It won't be long now until the Philippine adaptation of the hit South Korean series What's Wrong with Secretary Kim will make you swoon with kilig.
Viu Philippines has dropped the first trailer of the upcoming series that has Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino in the lead.
The two-minute clip starts with an introduction of Brandon Manansala Castillo, the titular character's dashing boss who is so successful that he can even afford to take a helicopter ride to get to his office. The only problem is that he is also incredibly narcissistic.
Then, out of nowhere, his secretary has decided to hand him her resignation letter after years of working for him, which leads him to ask, "What's wrong with secretary Kim?"
The trailer then cuts to Brandon striving to change Kim's mind about resigning, which eventually leads them to grow closer until their feelings finally bloom into romance.
The clip ends in a swoon-worthy fashion as Kim asks her boss if they could simply stick to their own boundaries, which leads Brandon to say, "Paano kung ayoko? Just stay here, I'm going to love you from now on. I want to love you."

First announced in November last year, the Philippine remake of What's Wrong with Secretary Kim will also star Jake Cuenca, Janice De Belen, Rominick Sarmenta, Angeline Quinto, Pepe Herrera, Franco Laurel, Yves Flores, Gillian Vicencio, Kaori Oinuma, JC Alcantara, Cai Cortez, Phi Palmos, Kat Galang, Brian Sy, and the special participation of Kim Won-Shik.
The original 2018 South Korean series is based on a novel by Jung Kyung-yoon, which was later serialized into a webtoon.
Starring Park Seo-joon and Park Min-young, the show follows Lee Young-joon, a vice chairman of a major corporation, as he does whatever he can to keep his highly capable secretary Kim Mi-so from quitting after working for him for nine years.
Helmed by He's Into Her director Chad Vidanes, the Philippine adaptation will stream on Viu starting March 18.
