Tara, kape? First-ever BGC coffee festival brewing on Sept 10-11
Looking for a fun spot to go on a coffee ride with the gang this weekend?
Bikers and coffee lovers may want to pedal their way to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) as it hosts the first-ever BGC Coffee Festival from September 10-11.
The event taking place at Bonifacio High Street South on 28th Street, near the Jordan Store., will celebrate all things arts, bikes, and the vibrant coffee culture.
Coffee aficionados can expect pop-up cafes from brands such as Because Coffee, Nespresso, Luntian by Luna, Knotty, 24 Bakeshop, El Union, La Marzocco-Yardstick Coffee, and many others. Get your caffeine fix with free product sampling, brewing, and latte art demonstrations.
It's the perfect excuse to take photos of your bikes with the street art and new murals around BGC.
The BGC Coffee Festival will also be hosting the Philippine AeroPress Championship Competition, the country’s qualifying event for the World AeroPress Championship that will be held in Canada this year.
Last year’s Philippine Brewers Cup Champion will give a brewing demo during the BGC event.
If you want to chill out and enjoy music, there’ll also be live musical performances from different groups including all-vinyl DJ Honey, Diego Mapa, August Wahh, bird., Ena Mori, and Party Pace on the first day.
Dive deeper on the second day of the festival with talks on a range of topics from Philippine coffee production, Café Culture, Coffee Science, Art and Cycling. The event will also feature the Latte Art Throwdown, an event where baristas compete to demonstrate their best latte art.
