Joshua Garcia will take part in the Filipino-dubbed version of Inside Out 2!
The actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 19 to share some of his behind-the-scenes moments while working on the upcoming offering.
“Joy is in control in my emotional HQ [right now],” he wrote in the caption.
Joshua is lending his voice to Lance Slashblade, a video game hero found in Riley's memory vault. Voice actor and streamer Yong Yea originally voiced the character.
Fans and celebrities, including Ria Atayde and Joshua's girlfriend, Filipino-French athlete Emilienne Vigier, expressed their support in the comments section of the post.
“So happy for and proud of you. [B]ucket list things!!” Ria wrote.
“Nice tol!!!” Kyle Echarri commented.
Emilienne also left a heart emoji in the same thread.
Directed by Kelsey Mann, the international movie, which became the "highest-grossing animated film of all time," follows the story of teenager Riley who goes through a "sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new emotions." It's the second installment of the first Inside Out film that premiered in 2015.
The cast includes Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust, among others.
