Korean model and reality TV star Kim Jong Seok dies at 29 • PhilSTAR Life

Kim Jong Seok, a popular model and reality TV star in Korea, has died. He was 29.

According to a report by Koreaboo, his family confirmed his passing on June 6.

The cause of his death was not specified.

Allkpop reported that his death was first announced by his friend on social media. "My bro. My heart shattered into pieces when I was informed that you were gone. I still can't believe that I'll never be able to see your smiling face again for all the days I live. You may no longer be with us, but please know that you were a great gift to this world, and I will always cherish you close in my heart. I'll miss you. I'll always love you," their post translated from Korean to English read.

His funeral was held in Hannam-si, Gyeonggi Province, per the K-entertainment outlet.

Kim Jong Seok became the face of cosmetic brand DASHU. He also made an appearance in Skip Dating—a dating reality show on tvN.
