Joshua Garcia willing to work with ex Julia Barretto again: 'Okay naman kami'

Joshua Garcia has revealed that he and ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto are on good terms.

In the May 25 episode of Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, the "King of Talk" mentioned how his recent guest Gabbi Garcia, who is Joshua's Unbreak My Heart co-star, even contacted Julia just to double-check if it was fine to work with her former on-and-offscreen partner.

Boy asked if Joshua similarly reached out to Julia or Gabbi's real-life boyfriend Khalil Ramos, then clarified whether he is still friends with his ex.

"Okay naman kami," Joshua said simply.

The host then followed up if his guest was willing to work with Julia again, which Joshua replied: "Yes, sinasabi ko sa mga bossing namin 'yun."

As for Khalil, Joshua explained that he didn't reach out to him but they are actually friends and on good terms as well.

"T'saka friends naman kami ni Khalil. Palagi kong tinatanong si Gabbi, 'Ano kumusta kay Khalil itong ganitong eksena? Okay ba sa kaniya?'" Joshua recalled.

He explained that Gabbi and Khalil know how to separate work from personal life, adding "T'saka professionally lang naman namin ginawa 'yung mga kung anong ginawa namin doon."

Joshua and Julia dated between 2017 and 2019. As part of the love team JoshLia, they last collaborated in Moira Dela Torre's Paubaya music video.
