Kesha changes 'TiK ToK' Diddy lyrics in Coachella appearance
American singer Kesha took a swipe at hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs during a surprise performance at Coachella on April 14.
Variety reported that Kesha emerged roughly halfway through the set of American singer Reneé Rapp. She performed her 2010 hit TiK ToK but changed the opening line from “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy” to “Wake up in the morning like f**k P. Diddy.” Both of them then raised their middle fingers in the air.
During a performance in November, meanwhile, Kesha removed Diddy’s name entirely from the line, going for, “Wake up in the morning feeling just like me.”

The revisions to the lyrics came on the heels of Diddy facing multiple lawsuits alleging sexual assault, gang rape, and sex trafficking.
One of the cases involved Diddy’s former girlfriend, singer-dancer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who in November 2023 settled “amicably” with him after filing rape and physical abuse cases against him.
Last March, armed agents from Homeland Security Investigations carried out raids on Diddy’s homes in the United States.
Combs, who has not been criminally convicted, denied all the allegations.
Coachella, one of the world’s largest music and arts festivals, held its first weekend bash last April 12-14, with a second round coming on April 19-21.
