Mackenyu at ManiPopCon 2023: Photo op and autograph tickets now available online
Wishing to have your photo taken with the one and only Roronoa Zoro from the live-action One Piece? Then wish no more as photo op and autograph tickets for the show's breakout star Mackenyu Arata are now available.
In case you're late to the party, Mackenyu was officially revealed to be headlining the Manila Pop Culture Convention 2023, an event that celebrates pop culture through geek activities, tournaments, merchandise, cosplays, and meet-and-greet sessions with different stars.
While you will not need a ticket to enter ManiPopCon 2023, you will, however, need one for premium experiences such as autograph signing and picture-taking with celebrities. They can now be purchased online via Ticketmelon's website.
According to the ticketing platform, the photo op with Mackenyu will be held by blocks starting at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and costs P6,000 while the autograph signing costs P5,500 for blocks starting 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Unfortunately, the VIP experience, which costs P12,500, has now been sold out.
Both activities are scheduled for Nov. 19, and you can add P1,000 to your purchase to gain access to the express line.
The photo op is reserved only for picture-taking and you are not allowed to request autographs and hugs, or give presents to the celebrity. Using personal cameras for selfie-taking is also prohibited as your photo will be taken by a professional and on high-quality stock paper.
If you're late to your chosen block time, you will be allowed to join the block that has already started. Just make sure that you don't arrive after the celebrity has departed as this means that you will have forfeited your ManiPopCon Premium Experience Photo Op ticket and will not get a refund.
For the autograph, you can have two items signed by Mackenyu.
ManiPopCon will provide an approved printed picture for the autograph. While attendees are allowed to bring items for the celebrity to sign, they still need to be approved by the staff and the celebrity can also choose to deny any items they consider inappropriate and offensive.
ManiPopCon 2023 will take place from Nov. 17 to 19 at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
