'Yumi's Cells' Season 3 to premiere in April
Can't get enough of the hit South Korean romance series Yumi's Cells? You won't have to wait long to return to the quirky world inside Kim Yumi’s mind, as the third season will premiere in April later this year.
HBO Max announced that the fan favorite slice-of-life series starring Kim Go-eun will be back on April 13 for season three.
The show will zoom in on the next chapter of Yumi’s journey as she becomes a successful writer and meets aspiring producer Soon-rok, played by Kim Jae-won.
As new adventures and an unpredictable romance unfold, her "Cell Village" is activated once again with amplified emotions.
The third season of Yumi’s Cells is directed by Lee Sang-yeob and will have a total of eight episodes.
Based on the webtoon of the same name, Yumi’s Cells follows the life of ordinary office worker Kim Yumi as she navigates love, friendship, and career challenges through the eyes of anthropomorphized cells in her head, which control her emotions and decisions.
The last two seasons previously had Itaewon Class star Ahn Bo-hyun and Our Unwritten Seoul actor Jinyoung as Yumi's love interests.
Other cast members include Choi Daniel, Park Ji-hyun, Lee Yu-bi, Joo Jong-hyuk, and Jeong Soon-won.
