Conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel have a message for social media users who are bashing them and asking inappropriate questions following news that one of them is now married.

In a TikTok post on Friday, March 29, the two shared a photo of them with Abby's husband, nurse and United States Army veteran Josh Bowling. Playing in the background is an AI-generated voiceover that said, "This is a message to all the haters out there. If you don't like what I do, but you watch everything that I'm doing, you're still a fan."

This comes a day after TODAY reported about Abby's 2021 wedding, citing public records that they obtained. DailyMail also shared a video of their first dance as husband and wife on TikTok.

Later in the day, Abby and Brittany released a TikTok video showing snaps of sculptures of conjoined twins. "The internet is extra LOUD today," they wrote in the caption with the hashtags #marriage, #love, and #lovestory, among others. "We have always been around."

The two rose to fame in 1996 following their appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show when they were just six years old.

They had their own reality show dubbed Abby & Brittany on TLC in 2012, which revolved around their lives as conjoined twins. The TV offering only had one season.

In a 2003 documentary, Brittany revealed her and Abby's desire to become mothers in the future.

"Yeah, we're going to be moms. We haven't thought about how being moms is going to work yet. But we're just 16, we don't need to think about that right now," she said at the time.
