WATCH: Red Velvet, aespa collaborate on 'Beautiful Christmas' music video
SM Entertainment girl groups Red Velvet and aespa have joined forces to bring you holiday cheer through the music video of Beautiful Christmas.
The Christmas present was delivered to ReVeluvs and MY (the group's fandoms) on SMTOWN’s YouTube channel on Dec. 14.
Beautiful Christmas is one of the tracks in SM Entertainment’s holiday album, 2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE. According to a report by Soompi, the agency is set to release the Yuletide album on Dec. 26.
Other than the Red Velvet X aespa collaboration, the album will feature songs composed by the label’s K-Pop idols Kangta, Boa, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, EXO, WayV, and NCT subunits 127 and Dream.
Red Velvet forrayed in Korea's music industry in August 2014 with the single Happiness. The group is composed of five members, namely Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.
Meanwhile, aespa officially debuted in November 2020 with the song Black Mamba. The group is composed of Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning.
As of writing, the music video has garnered 3.4 million views. Watch the official music video below.
