Glaiza De Castro is about to take on her most exciting role yet: becoming a first-time mom!
The actress delighted her fans with the news on her Instagram account, where she posted several pictures of herself showing off her gorgeous baby bump.
"So glad I’m through the first trimester because… grabe pala," she began. "Will share more about this soon! It’s also been so nice and comforting talking to other women about this journey as a first-time mom. I need all the help I can get."
"Basta masasabi ko lang, ibang klase talaga ang mga nanay," she added.
In the comments section, many of her fellow celebrities took the time to shower her with their heartiest congratulations, including Rochelle Pangilinan, Yasmin Curdi, Nadine Samonte, Edgar Allan Guzman, Ruru Madrid, Iya Villania, and more.
Glaiza is married to Irish businessman David Rainey, having first tied the knot in Ireland in 2021, atop a coastal cliff overlooking the medieval Dunluce Castle ruins where part of the hit series Game of Thrones was filmed.
They later exchanged “I Dos” for the second time around in a beach-themed wedding in Zambales in 2023.
The two first met in 2018 when Glaiza went to Siargao for her birthday trip.
