Make way for a new all-Filipino boy group, P-pop fans! New:ID is now set to make waves in the global music scene, as the group had just been introduced during HORI7ON's first-ever concert, "Friend-SHIP [Voyage To Manila]."

During the event held last Sept. 9 at the Araneta Coliseum, New:ID members Sune, Wilson Budoy, Jom Aceron, Josh Labing-isa, and Macky Tuason performed tracks from HORI7ON's debut album, Friend-SHIP, along with their fellow Filipino global pop group.

New:ID is the newest talent of South Korean entertainment agency MLD Entertainment. The members of the group were also contestants from the same show HORI7ON championed, Dream Maker.

All of the New:ID members were finalists in the show but were not part of the final group. Josh L ranked 16th, Jom ranked 15th, Macky ranked 14th, Thad ranked 11th, and Wilson ranked 10th.

New: ID member Thad greeted fans during the concert by saying, “Some of you may know we were once 'Dream Chasers' like HORI7ON and now, we are so honored to perform on the very first concert as a global pop group”.

He also said that their performance was a “massive celebration of their Friend-SHIP," and congratulated the backstage crew and anchors for HORI7ON's successful debut in South Korea.

MLD Entertainment had previously announced that New:ID will debut this year. Their recent foray into the industry was followed by the launch of their official channels on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok on Sept. 11.

Apart from the new P-pop group, the agency is home to boy band TFN and girl group Lapillus. They used to manage girl group Momoland until their contracts ended earlier this year.

"Friend-SHIP [Voyage To Manila]" is HORI7ON's first-ever concert in Manila following their debut in South Korea on  July 24.
