Meghan Trainor opened up about some of her cosmetic procedure regrets, admitting that she “got too much Botox” which made it difficult for her to smile.

“I got too much Botox, and I need help,” Meghan said with a laugh in an episode of their Workin' On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor podcast.

“I messed up. Listen, I've had Botox, like, a handful of times...just my forehead,” she added. The 30-year-old singer continued that someone also convinced her to get lip injections for her upper lip.

“Someone convinced me with my little lips that if you did a lip flip, you put filler right above your upper lip, that you could have a beautiful flip on your upper lip and I could have one for the first time in my whole 30 years of living — it was not true,” she shared.

Following the cosmetic procedures, Meghan said that she “cannot smile anymore.” She then looked at the camera, smiling, as she said, “Look, this is as big as I can smile.”

Her older brother, Ryan Trainor, shared that he teased the singer a bit. “Bro, you can’t smile,” he said, laughing.

Meghan replied, "Now, I can’t unsee it, everywhere I go, I cannot smile.” “My face hurts to smile, to even try," she added.

The Mother singer also showed a photo of her smiling when she visited a dog shelter.

“I’m a happy person here, I’m holding a puppy, [but] I don’t look happy. I look like I smelled someone’s fart,” she said.

She also recalled when she did Botox once and got compliments saying she “looks rested.” “So, I was like, I’m going to do it again,” Meghan said.

"You know what this did teach me? It taught me my smile does light up a room, and when it’s not there, it’s a dim light," she said. "I feel like I’m not happy because I can’t smile."

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a "lip flip" is a nonsurgical procedure that makes lips appear fuller by injecting Botox into the corners of the mouth and the edges of the lips. The drug helps the muscle relax, which makes the lip “flip” and appear larger than normal.

The singer also revealed in the podcast that she plans to get a breast augmentation, which she wanted “[her] whole life.”

"Maybe a little implant just so they're like, ‘We are boobs,’ ‘cause right now, they are not. But I love them, love my body, and I’ve been wanting this for years," she said.
