Lee O’Brian has submitted his reply to the petition for deportation filed against him by his former partner Pokwang

In an interview shared by entertainment reporter MJ Marfori on Instagram on Monday, June 26, the actor stressed that he will always have respect for the mother of his child “above everything.”

He added that he always puts the best interest of his daughter first. "I love my daughter more than anything, all right?” he said.

Noting that the complainant is “very well-known” and “very influential” in the country, O’Brian appealed to the Philippine government and the Bureau of Immigration to look at the case in line with his deportation and visa cancellation “fairly and with justice.”

“Whatever I filed here, I plead with them to look at it justly,” he said.

Pokwang filed a petition for deportation against Lee, along with her legal counsel Atty. Ralph Calinisan, on June 13. "Kailangan nating mabigyan ng leksyon 'yung mga taong nag-aabuso sa batas natin, sa karapatan ng bawat babae, ng bawat nanay," she told Marfori in an interview, without getting into much detail on the matter.

Marfori said in an Instagram post that Pokwang's camp "claims that O'Brian was using a tourist visa while working in the country for the past eight years."

Pokwang separated from Lee in November 2021. They share a child named Malia.

While she initially said they were on good terms, the local star later revealed in a February interview with Boy Abunda that a business problem led to their fallout and that they were no longer speaking to each other even before their confrontation.
