Amid revelations of their split, comedian Pokwang took to social media to share that she and her ex-boyfriend Lee O'Brian are still in good terms.

Rumors on their split arose when netizens noticed Pokwang changed the brand name of the food and condiments she is selling from "Pok-Lee" to "Mamang Pokwang". The comedian finally revealed in an interview with PUSH posted on July 9 that she had already ended her relationship with the part-time actor back in November 2021.

She clarified that there was no third party involved and that O'Brian still visits their house to spend time with their four-year-old daughter Malia, who was born in 2018.

Pokwang also shared that her mother Gloria, who passed away in 2020, continues to serve as her inspiration to be a strong mother.

The comedian ended her post by encouraging single parents to not think of their broken relationships as a bad thing.

Many of her celebrity friends took the time to respond with supportive messages.

Rabiya Mateo wrote.

Vina Morales also commented, "My prayers and love to you and to the whole family from another proud and loving single mom here."

Pokwang and O'Brian first got to know each other in 2014 while working on the film Edsa Woolworth. Pokwang also has a 25-year-old daughter named Mae from a previous relationship.
