Arci Muñoz becomes part of Miss Universe Bahrain 2023 jury

The Miss Universe Bahrain organization has revealed a new addition to this year’s judging panel: Arci Muñoz!  

The MUB announced the actress' participation in the upcoming event on its Instagram page on Monday, Aug. 14.

"It’s our honor to present one of the most sought-after and highly respected actresses in Asian film and TV industry—the superbly talented and incredibly stunning—@ramonathornes,” the post read, showing a photo of the Filipina star.

Arci commented on the same thread as she thanked the organization for welcoming her to the panel.

“Thank you soo much for having me. This is such a dream!” the actress said.  

In an Instagram post on the same day, the local personality expressed her excitement about her role at the Miss Universe Bahrain 2023.

The MUB organization features an all-Filipino team, led by Cavite-born Josh Yugen of the Yugen Group of Companies.   

Also part of the MUB council are Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa as head of empowerment, host Raymond Gutierrez as fashion director, film producer Joey Abacan as senior executive consultant, and filmmaker Brillante Mendoza as artistic director.  

Joining the council as head of culture is Evlin Abdullah Khalifa, who won Miss Universe Bahrain in 2022. 

Miss Universe Bahrain began taking part in the prestigious beauty pageant in 2021, with Manar Nadeem Deyani as its first winner.
