Jeremy Jauncey reveals why he and Pia Wurtzbach opted for an intimate wedding
Jeremy Jauncey reflected on the past two months of his married life with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach as he revealed why they opted for an intimate wedding.
In a recent Instagram post, the entrepreneur thanked their friends, family, and even the people they haven't met who "have been so kind."
"Love, support, and happiness is all we’ve received since we shared our wedding news," he said.
The Jaunceys opted for an intimate ceremony in North Island, an exclusive private island located in Seychelles in East Africa, last March 24. They posted about their wedding on May 5.
As for the reason why, Jeremy wrote: "We did things differently, just for us, away from stress so we could relax and be present for the moment."
On behalf of Pia, he said they're "sure it was the best decision we ever made."
Pia and Jeremy first confirmed their relationship when they got featured on the cover of a magazine's June 2020 issue.
Engagement rumors began in October that year, as Jeremy shared an Instagram post with the caption, "Some BIG BD news coming soon." At the time, however, Pia said the rumors were "not true."
They got engaged in May 2022 during their staycation on luxury island Amanpulo in Palawan.
