Patrick Garcia says Anne Curtis was the first girl who turned him down

Patrick Garcia opened up about the first time he experienced getting rejected by a girl, revealing it was Anne Curtis.

In an episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Wednesday, April 3, the actor shared that Anne said no to his romantic interest in the past.

"Unang nambasted sa ‘yo?" Tito Boy asked during the Fast Talk segment.

To which, he replied, "Si Anne Curtis."

Patrick didn't get into much detail about the experience, though he said it happened a long time ago. "Matagal na 'to, Mga 1999 pa 'to," he said.

"Ngayon ko lang sinabi ‘to. Sorry guys," he added.

Patrick and Anne starred in the fantasy drama series Kampanerang Kuba in the early 2000s. Patrick played the role of Luke Tennyson, Anne's love interest in the television offering.

Aside from his role in Kampanerang Kuba, Patrick became known for his stint in Ang TV, a youth-oriented comedy variety show that aired on ABS-CBN from 1992 to 1997. He also starred in a number of hit films and TV series, including Tabing Ilog, Pangako Sa'Yo, and Darating Ang Umaga.

Recently, he starred in the Netflix film A Journey along with his Tabing Ilog co-stars Paolo Contis and Kaye Abad.

Patrick is married to Nikka Martinez. They share four children together.

He was previously with Jennylyn Mercado, with whom he shares a son named Alex Jazz. They split up in 2008 but have since remained good friends.

Anne, meanwhile, has been happily married to Erwan Heussaff since 2017. They have a daughter named Dahlia Amelie.
