Olivia Rodrigo, Louis Partridge have broken up—report
Singer Olivia Rodrigo and actor Louis Partridge have reportedly broken up after being in a relationship for two years.
According to British media, the Filipino American singer attended Lily Allen's recent holiday party in London, where she was allegedly in tears.
A source told the Sun, "Olivia was at Lily's party and emotional when she was talking about it. Her friends have rallied around her but it's just been pretty rough. It's really sad right now."
The former couple were normally private about their relationship.
"Olivia and I choose, or have been choosing, to not be so public. Obviously, it has been quite a big summer for her with Glastonbury, but there's a sanctity to being private," Partridge told PEOPLE magazine in September.
Still, they were known to give in to rare public displays of affection, online and in real life.
Celebrating Rodrigo's successful headlining set at the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. on June 29, Partridge wrote on Instagram the day after Rodrigo's performance, "I hope you caught Olivia’s show last night. A truly special performance on such a huge scale. She worked her ass off for it and couldn’t be more deserving of all her success and for the great crowd that was watching. What a moment."
In early July, PEOPLE reported Partridge and Rodrigo attended Wimbledon, where they sat in the Royal Box at the All England Lawn and Tennis and Croquet Club. They were seen kissing; not a common sight for the usually private couple.
Partridge continued, "I think [it helps], yeah, to not blow it out of proportion or not have to explain it or have someone understand it,” he said. “I just have no doubt that we’re both in a relationship for the right reason, for example. I’m sure that’s something you have to think about when you reach a certain level of success."
Rumors of Rodrigo and Partridge's relationship first surfaced in October 2023, when they were spotted getting cozy in London.
Following the outing, eagle-eyed fans spotted Partridge increasingly showing up in fan shots of Rodrigo, either in the same frame or smiling in the background.
Rodrigo and Partridge, both 22, have yet to comment on their reported break-up.
