The internet was abuzz after makeup artist Mark Qua shared photos of Gretchen Barretto on Instagram. The 54-year-old actress looked stunning and fit in a casual white tank top and jeans.
"Tapos ang boxing[.] waahh so nice to see you again[.] fitspiration ba kamo?" Mark said in the caption.
Gretchen's celebrity friends, including Danita Paner, Neri Miranda, Denise Laurel, and Ciara Sotto, quickly flooded the comments section with praise for her timeless beauty and impressive physique.
"A reminder - she is the queen," said Heart Evangelista.
Meanwhile, Anne Curtis and Iza Calzado wrote "Grabe" with fire emojis.
For celebrity dermatologist Aivee Teo, she only had one thing to say: "Goddess."
Nikki Valdez also wrote: "My gahd!!!!!!!!!! Ang ganda!!!!"
Other social media users called her a "timeless queen," "dyosa," and even compared her to Hollywood actress Gal Gadot.
In June, Gretchen revealed in a vlog that she once was obsessed with having lips similar to Angelina Jolie's. She shared that her doctor, Aivee, advised against the procedure. Even though some people may have said she "looked like a fish," Gretchen admitted that she loved the way her lips looked.
"Oh my God, the days of my lips! I wanted to be like Angelina Jolie. I'm like, 'No Aivee... bigger,'" Gretchen said. "She'd say, 'No, you can't have it.' [I'm like], 'Please, please!'"
She recalled telling Aivee, "You can't leave until you make my lips!'"
