Kim Chiu channeled her inner K-pop idol with a cover of Swipe by girl group ITZY on Tiktok back in October 2021, and was noticed by member Yuna five months later.

“Enjoying swipe,” Yuna wrote on ITZY’s official account. The video has gathered over 450,000 views, 132,400 likes, 7,690 comments, and 2,453 shares, as of this writing.
The edited video showed Yuna reacting to Chiu’s cover as she jammed along to Swipe. Yuna even smiled while dancing along with the Filipina-Chinese celeb.
Chiu took to social media to express her excitement after being noticed by Yuna. “LIKE OMG!!!!!! I didn’t believe at first then I checked itzy official tiktok account…. Like…. OMG!!! I cannot breathe!!! Nahimatay ako ng 5 seconds.”
