BTS’ Jimin to sing soundtrack for upcoming K-drama ‘Our Blues’

From BTS’ charismatic main dancer and lead vocalist to K-drama OST superstar in the making.

BTS’ Jimin has been confirmed to participate in the soundtrack of the upcoming K-drama Our Blues. According to Korean media outlet Newsen, this will be Jimin’s first soundtrack for a Korean series.

“Jimin will participate as a singer for the OST of tvN’s new Saturday and Sunday drama Our Blues,” Our Blues OST producer Yum Nyam Entertainment said. “With global group BTS member Jimin joining us, we plan to revitalize the drama with a luxury and high-quality song. 

Yum Nyam Entertainment added that Jimin has already finished recording the song.

Our Blues is described as an “omnibus-style” K-drama that tells the stories of people living in a village on Jeju Island. The series stars Lee Byunghun (Mr. Sunshine), Shin Minah (Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha), and Kim Woobin (Uncontrollably Fond), among others.

Aside from Jimin, BTS bandmate V has also been making a name for himself as a K-drama OST soloist. Some of his popular works include Sweet Night from Itaewon Class and Christmas Tree from Our Beloved Summer.

Jin also participated in the soundtrack for the K-drama Jirisan.
