From moving in, to acting workshops: A peek into Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones' New York City adventures
Jericho and Kim are taking over the "Big Apol."
Jericho Rosales fulfilled every theater kid's dreams when he shared last Feb. 22 that he and his wife, fashion influencer Kim Jones, had moved to New York City.
The actor broke the news with photos of the couple settling into their New York apartment, or as Jericho puts it: "bagong haybol (house) in Big Apol." Echo even quipped a few jokes about the two looking for the nearest palengke and waiting for a manong taho.
Since their apartment reveal, Jericho and Kim have been sharing their fun quests and adventures around the Big Apple. A day after Jericho's post, Kim shared that she finally had a haircut for the first time in two years.
Kim's newly chopped hair and curtain side bangs were cut by none other then New York-based Filipina hairstylist, Suyen Salvador. Salvador has also made looks for fellow Filipinas Sarah Lahbati and Lovi Poe.
Meanwhile, Jericho has been enjoying the city's sights, sounds, and of course, tastes through his regularly-updated Instagram posts.
After sharing a delectable chicken rice meal from a halal food truck, the actor has been sharing his New York ventures from random washing machine shots to smiling alongside a bright green Lancia car. He has been donning his NYC posts with the hashtag #SaanLakadEcho.
In one post celebrating the birthday of his manager, Marinez Elizalde, Jericho and Kim can be seen roaming the bright New York streets.
On March 2, Jericho shared that he had been attending acting workshops in the Bova Actors Workshop. He also shared a selfie alongside the workshop's artistic director, Anthony Vincent Bova.
"Acting workshops- one of my happy places," Jericho wrote. "This stoke is for everyone! Acting should be taught in schools. Anyway, I made a new friend and had a good walk."
Rosales enrolled at the New York Film Academy in 2011 to study acting, directing, and producing.
Meanwhile, the couple has long been transparent about their dreams of starting anew in New York.
In particular, Jericho had shared with celebrity news site PEP.ph that he was comfortable starting from scratch in order to achieve his dreams of being a Hollywood actor.
