LOOK: Jericho Rosales gives a preview of his new home in New York City
Actor Jericho Rosales recently gave his followers on social media a sneak peek of his new home in New York City as he reportedly pursues an acting career in the US.
On Instagram, Rosales posted photos of him and wife, fashion influencer Kim Jones in a seemingly unfurnished apartment with a view of limestone and red brick apartment buildings that dot the Big Apple.
“Sa bagong haybol sa Big Apol. Kim on Google Maps: saan and palengke…? Me sa bintana: anong oras dadaan ang taho?” he captioned his post.
Among Rosales’ friends who reacted to his post and wished him and Jones the best were actresses Bea Alonzo and Iza Calzado, TV host Iya Villania, singer Kiana Valenciano and beauty queen Leren Mae Bautista.
In another post, Rosales showed his followers a clip where he orders chicken and rice from a halal food truck, which is among the staples in the streets of New York City.
He also shared getting chicken and rice was a habit when he was in acting school. It was in 2011 when Rosales enrolled at the New York Film Academy to study acting, directing and producing.
“Have a nice chicken rice! Ritwal ko nung estudyante pa acting school. Napadpad sa isang kanto ng New York, hindi Cubao. Pero masarap din turo-turo dun,” he wrote. Rosales even poked fun at the situation using the hashtag #sietenasakaratulaotsosiningil, as he was billed $8 (P400) for the food he ordered when the sign only says it's $7 (P350).
Rosales also made a new version of an earlier video he posted of washing the dishes, and told his followers, “Akala mo porque nasa New York ka wala ka nang kawala ha? Wala kang ligtas, bessy!”
Meanwhile, his wife, Kim Jones, have also posted some snaps on her Instagram Stories, exploring the city and even getting a new haircut “for the first time in two years.”
Rosales has been open about his dream of pursuing an acting career in the United States. In an interview with Pep.ph in 2021, he revealed that he is willing to step out of his comfort zone to achieve his goals, and this is by moving to either Los Angeles or New York.
He also told the publication that he will be starting from zero once he moves to the US and pursue his ultimate dream of working with the best actors and production companies in the world.
