Nepal beauty queen Sophiya Bhujel is in Manila for Miss Universe training
Another beauty queen is in the Philippines to train for the prestigious Miss Universe pageant! Nepal's Sophiya Bhujel has arrived in Manila to undergo beauty queen boot camp for the upcoming grand competition.
Miss Universe Nepal national director Nagma Shrestha went live on Instagram on Dec. 4 to announce their arrival in the country. Bhujel will be in Manila for a week-long training with Empire Studios.
"Mabuhay from Philippines! We are here for Sophiya's training," Sherstha said in a video.
"I'm excited for training," Bhujel added, sharing she has been to the country before in 2019. "I love the Philippines and I'm so excited to be here."
In her Instagram stories, the beauty queen shared snaps of undergoing Q&A training, runway workshops, and makeup and hair training.
Aside from pageant prep, Bhujel is also seen enjoying Bonifacio Global City with some friends.
This 2022, other Miss Universe delegates have also visited the country for training, including Thailand's Anna Sueangam-iam, Indonesia's Laksmi Shari De Neefe Suardana, and Cambodia's Manita Hang.
The Miss Universe 2022 pageant is happening on January 14, 2023 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
