Zendaya says AI wedding photos with Tom Holland misled 'many people' in her life
Zendaya addressed the "wedding photos" circulating online showing what is supposed to be her and Tom Holland's special day.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 16, the actress was asked by the TV host about the viral pictures.
"I'm sure you know the internet has gone berserk with stories... that you might actually be married to Tom," Kimmel began.
Zendaya, whose engagement with Holland was confirmed last year, joked, "Really? I haven't seen any of that."
"...People make these AI wedding photos that look very realistic of you guys together," Kimmel continued.
"Many people have been fooled by them. While I was just out and about in real life, people were like, 'Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.' And I was like, 'Babe, they're AI. They're not real,'" said Zendaya.
"Was anyone in your real life fooled by them?" Kimmel asked.
"Yes, many people," Zendaya said. She added that several were fooled by the photos enough to the point that they got mad about not being invited to the wedding.
To further "clear the air," Zendaya shared a video of a clip from what looked like The Drama, a film she's starring in with Robert Pattinson. It showed what appears to be her and Pattinson's wedding scene. In place of Pattinson's face, however, was a roughly pasted photo of Holland's.
"It almost would seem as if somebody just crudely pasted Tom's head over Robert's head," Kimmel commented.
"No, that was real footage. That was real. I was there," Zendaya joked.
The excitement about their nuptials began after Zendaya's long-time stylist Law Roach teased at a recent interview, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it."
Zendaya and Holland starred as love interests in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming. They were first linked romantically in 2016.
At the 2025 Golden Globes, Zendaya showed up wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger, sparking rumors of an engagement. Holland himself confirmed it in September 2025 during a fan Q&A session.
After someone called Zendaya Holland's "girlfriend," the actor quietly corrected him, saying, "Fiancée."
As of writing, Zendaya and Holland have not given confirmation about a wedding.
