Ariana Grande became Twitter's top trending topic in the Philippines after she reposted two videos of the Filipino crowd singing her smash hit Break Free in her Instagram stories.

The American singer on Monday, Mar. 21 said she "could not believe this was real" as she shared a shot of Kakampinks jamming out to her song before the arrival of presidential candidate Leni Robredo at the affair.

"I love you more than words," she added.

Ariana followed it with another video, which she captioned with three pleading face emojis.

This is the second time that Vice President Leni Robredo got noticed by an international star. Just last month, pop singer Cher made the rounds online as she talked about the VP and tweeted: "Let women do it."

Aside from Break Free, Leni-Kiko supporters were also seen singing Sia's chart-topper Titanium—the same song that local singer Toni Gonzaga has been belting out to during campaigns for the UniTeam tandem of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte, who are also seeking presidential and vice-presidential seats, respectively, in the May 2022 polls.

The PasigLaban People's Rally took place on Sunday, Mar. 20 along Emerald Avenue, bringing in an estimated 80,000 attendees, according to Pasig police.
