LJ Reyes’ friends in the United States held a bridal shower for the actress ahead of her wedding with non-showbiz partner Philip Evangelista.
In some reposted Instagram stories on Sunday, Aug. 13, the local star can be seen strolling around New York City with her pals in a white collared mini dress complete with a veiled crown and a bride-to-be sash.
“Lol, never thought I will experience this in NYC,” she wrote in one of her posts, expressing her gratitude to her friends who celebrated the occasion with her.
The mom-of-two shared some prenup photos with her fiancé last week, which were captured by Nice Print Photography.
The Kapuso actress announced her engagement with Philip in May, quoting the bible verse of Jeremiah 29:11 NLT in the caption. "’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’"
She moved to New York in September 2021 following her controversial breakup with Paolo Contis after a six-year relationship. They share a child named Summer. LJ also has a son named Aki with Paulo Avelino.
