Heart Evangelista says it's 'not a rat race' after becoming top celebrity at Paris Fashion Week
After becoming the top celebrity at the recently concluded Paris Fashion Week, Heart Evangelista reminded her fans to be respectful as making an impact on these events is "not a rat race."
On her Instagram stories, the local star gave her two cents on her achievement and stressed that this should not be a basis of one's worth.
"Just some thoughts—numbers, ratings, and likes will always change. It should never determine your worth. If by chance you make it, be thankful to those who blessed you with love," Heart wrote.
According to data gathered by marketing and technology company Launchmetrics, Heart managed to deliver an impressive $10.6 million (P596 million) in media impact value (MIV), which is a proprietary algorithm that measures the impact of all media placements and mentions across different industries.
Other celebrities who ranked high in the list include Thai actor Wattanagitiphat at second with $10.2 million (P572 million) in MIV and Pia Wurtzbach in third with $7 million (P404 million).
Heart urged her followers to choose to "be kind" to others and reminded them it's not about "how fast you get there."
"Be kind. Sometimes it's the hardest thing to do, but kindness will always win. It's not how fast you get there... it's all part of the story," she stressed.
"The show of your life is not gonna end with one season. After all, there has got to be more so don't rush! You're on your own path. Take your time, it's not a rat race," she added.
Heart and Pia recently made headlines after their fans noticed that they are no longer following each other on Instagram.
While the two fashion influencers have yet to directly address their apparent feud, the issue seems to have been rooted from Pia allegedly taking Heart's former glam team for herself, which included makeup artist Justin Soriano and hairstylist Jeck Aguilar.
However, Justin had set the record straight about the issue and stressed that the Miss Universe 2015 winner had never stolen any contacts.
He also said that the beauty queen has been present in fashion shows since 2015, adding that the issue, which he said has been going on for more than a year, was "invented" just to draw hate towards Pia.
The Paris Fashion Week was held from Sept. 23 to Oct. 1. Other local celebrities who made it to the week-long affair include Maymay Entrata, Michelle Dee, and Hayden Kho.
