Kim Kardashian revealed what caused her split from one of her ex-boyfriends.

In the final episode of The Kardashians' fifth season, the reality star opened up about her “fight-or-flight" personality, saying it's been affecting her relationships with other people.

"When someone tells me not to do something that I planned on, I physically get, like, ‘You’re getting in my way,' and I will bulldoze whatever is in my way because you’re not going to tell me to change my schedule,” Kim explained.

"I feel like that’s how I would get in relationships,” she continued, adding how her ex, whose name was censored in the episode, would tell her, “'You work so much, why don’t you just take a week off?' I’m like, ‘Get out of here!'" Kim recalled.

“Take the week off?! That was the beginning of the end,” she added.

The socialite shared she’s been learning more about herself now and that her calm attitude was actually a “trauma response” when she got robbed in Paris in 2016, where she was held at gunpoint while her jewelry was being taken from her hotel room.

She recalled having a talk with a therapist who told her, “'You think calm is your superpower. I think you are so desensitized to trauma that you are literally frozen in fight-or-flight.'"

She noted that while being calm “served [her] well,” she realized that she tends to get so calm that people can take advantage of it.

"It saved my life, but I think I let it get too calm to where people can take advantage of my calmness—or I'm just turning into a full robot with no emotion,” Kim said during the confessional.

Kim had a brief romance with actor Pete Davidson and NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., after her divorce from her longtime partner, Kanye West which was finalized in 2022.

Kim and Kanye are co-parenting their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
