Jennylyn Mercado, Dennis Trillo establish their own production company

Award-winning actors Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have established their own production company, Brightburn Entertainment.

The power couple shared the good news on their social media pages on Wednesday, July 10, sharing their photos from their first meeting with the Netflix Philippines team.

“After 20 years in the industry, Dennis and I are trying on new hats, this time as producers, as we formally put up our own production company called Brightburn Entertainment,” Jennylyn began in the caption. 

“We are very excited for this and just want to share with you these photos… our first ever official meeting as a team with no less than Netflix Philippines. Thank you so much po sir Vitto, Bene and Luis for spending some time with us and for discussing opportunities we can explore in the future. Looking forward to working with all of you!” she added. The actress also shared that they collaborated with their managers-turned-partners Jan, Becky, and Katrina of Aguila Entertainment. 

Friends from the showbiz expressed their support to the couple in the comments section.

“It’s about time!! Congratulations!!” actor Jerald Napoles wrote. 

“Congratulations Ate Jen!!” beauty queen Michelle Dee commented. 

“Yey!!! Congratulations mare!” actress Sheena Halili also commented. 

The couple also has their respective projects coming up, with Dennis playing a villain role in GMA’s upcoming historical series Pulang Araw  starring Barbie Forteza, Sanya Lopez, David Licauco, and Alden Richards.

Meanwhile, Jennylyn is confirmed to be among the lead stars of the Filipino adaptation of the hit South Korean film All About My Wife alongside Gerald Anderson and Sam Milby.  

In 2023, she signed with ABS-CBN's record label Star Music for a recording comeback.

They will also star in a new romantic-comedy movie together, Everything About My Wife, a PH adaptation of the Argentinian film.

Jennylyn and Dennis got back together in 2014 and officially tied the knot in October 2021, a month after announcing their engagement and pregnancy. 

They officially welcomed their daughter, Dylan in 2022.
