Elisse Joson says getting married to McCoy de Leon is all about finding the 'right timing'
Elisse Joson recently revealed that getting married to McCoy de Leon is not their priority as of now. For the 27-year-old actress and her beau, it's all about finding the right timing.
"Siguro nasa tamang panahon po. Napapag-usapan naman po. Pero yung definite kung kailan, wala pa po yun," Elisse said in an interview with PEP.ph during the finale presscon of the hit mystery crime drama, Dirty Linen.
"Parang ngayon po we want to take advantage of the fact na nabibigyan kami ng trabaho to save up for the family," she added.
The Kapamilya star also revealed her dream wedding with McCoy, noting how she wants it to be a simple yet memorable event with their loved ones.
"Beach wedding? Ako po gusto ko simple lang. It doesn’t matter where or kung anong nandiyan, ano’ng decorations," she explained. "Basta simple lang po at yung mga mahal namin sa buhay [ay] payapa."
Apart from getting married, the mother of one admitted that like most women, she too dreams of getting proposed to by her partner.
"Yan naman po ang dream ng mga babae. Hindi naman kailangan engrande. Basta, meron po," Elisse said. "Siguro isang achievement yun sa lahat ng pinagdaanan namin."
Elisse and McCoy met on reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2016, where their romance bloomed. They briefly broke up in 2019 and reconciled two years later. They welcomed their first child in April 2021.
The couple, however, underwent another breakup in January this year, which McCoy announced on his Instagram Stories at that time. It was the following month that the actor confirmed that he and Elise reconciled once again, proving that love is sweeter the second, or rather third, time around.
