Kris Aquino after taking sons to Disneyland: ‘Bedridden now but kuya kept saying thank you’

Taking some time out of her medical treatments for a Disney World trip with her sons may have been quite difficult for Kris Aquino, but it was “super worth it.”

The Queen of All Media shared a compilation of clips and photos from their family bonding on Saturday, Jan. 28, revealing that it was a promise she fulfilled for her son Josh. “I gave kuya Josh my word,” she wrote in the caption.

Kris said she was bedridden after the trip, but it was worth it because she was able to give her son a Disney experience he won’t forget. “Bedridden now but kuya kept saying 'thank you mama'… super worth it to give him this memory,” he replied to a netizen’s comment on her post.

“My checkup is in several days, I don’t know if my doctors will immediately start me on my immunosuppressant therapy,” she said.

“P.S. Please keep praying,” added the multimedia personality.

Kris is in the United States to get treatment for her multiple autoimmune diseases.

In December, she gave a health update as she shared her Christmas wish with her supporters. “My Christmas wish is makabawi ako sa ginagawa niyong mabuti para sa akin ngayon. My first cycle of immunotherapy treatment (same medicine as chemo but at a much lower dose given over a longer period of time) will take about 10 months."

In a previous update in late November, Kris shared that she’s signed up in a hospital’s center for people who have rare and undiagnosed illnesses.

She will also be admitted in early 2023 for further testing as the coordinator described her as a “challenge” since she’s allergic to various types of medicine, including steroids. “Pang-case study daw ako—one person with multiple autoimmune conditions and over 100 known allergic or adverse reactions to medication,” she explained.
