Local celebrities threw a surprise tribute party to Johnny Manahan, more popularly known as Mr. M, who is credited for helping build the careers of many stars in the entertainment industry.
Photos shared by Nice Print Photography showed dozens of household names, many of whom Manahan mentored, and showbiz executives present at the "Night of 100 Stars" event held at the Marriott Hotel.
Guests included Piolo Pascual, Claudine Barretto, Eric Quizon, Gio and Guila Alvarez, Rica Peralejo, Carlos Agassi, Kaye Abad, Luis Manzano, and Jessy Mendiola.

Big stars like Piolo, Bea, Echo, Kathryn, Jake, and Donny also joined Nice Print Photography's special video, each answering: what "M" word best describes Mr. M?
"Top of maalaga," Piolo said. "He's always been fatherly to us. If not for Mr. M, we would not have grown up the way we did."
Bea shared that Mr. M told her "There's always room for improvement."
"He once told me that once you stop learning, is the moment you stop growing," the Kapuso actress said.
Kathryn, for her part, said Mr. M became her voice "during that time when I couldn't speak up for myself."
"He always reminds me of my worth," Kathryn said.
Mr. M founded Star Magic, the talent agency arm of ABS-CBN, holding roles like senior vice president and consultant for years.
In 2021, he joined GMA Network as a consultant for Sparkle (then GMA Artist Center).
