In the first parts of the vlog, Judy Ann was seen video calling her co-stars to invite and give them assignments for their dishes, Thai pork rib soup and steamed lapu-lapu. Marvin, on the other hand, was tasked to make a basil smash cocktail.

The group exchanged banters and reminisced about their Gimik days, including how Dominic and Mylene were cast.

“We were cool once, you know?” Judy Ann quipped.

At the end of the video, they also teased that part two of the special episode will premiere next week.

Fans expressed how thrilled they were to see part of the Gimik barkada again, while also remembering the late Rico Yan.

“Gimik days ito tlgang hindi ko pinapalampas na panoorin nakakamiss batang 90s,” an Instagram user wrote.

“Grabe, naka smile ako buong video. Very nostalgic talaga. I so miss my childhood,” a YouTube user commented.

“Grabe ang saya nila! Nakakamiss ang Gimik! Siguro ang saya kung buhay pa si Rico Yan ang gulo siguro. Right now siguro nakangiti sya watching this,” another one commented.

Gimik was a youth-oriented ABS-CBN TV series that premiered from 1996 to 1999. Apart from the reunited group, it also starred Rico Yan, G. Toengi, Patrick Garcia, Kaye Abad, Diether Ocampo, Diego Castro III, and more.
