Nadine Lustre, Alden Richards team up for new series, 'Love, Siargao'
There's a new tandem to watch!
Nadine Lustre and Alden Richards are joining forces for a new romance-drama series, Love, Siargao, streaming platform Viu Philippines announced on Jan. 14.
The 26-episode series revolves around the mysterious “Siargao Curse,” a local legend that states anyone who arrives on the island will either end up staying for life or falling deeply in love. Lustre will play Kara, while Richards will portray Jao.
More details about the plot and cast members are still under wraps, but the actors will be joined by K-drama star Choi Bo-min. It's set to be released in the second quarter of the year.
Love, Siargao will be released on Viu, produced by Viva in collaboration with GMA.
Lustre was previously in a JaDine loveteam with James Reid. She recently starred in the hit MMFF 2025 entry, Call Me Mother, where she earned a nomination for Best Actress. She also appeared in films Uninvited, Deleter, and Nokturno.
Richards, meanwhile, previously starred in teleseryes and films including Pulang Araw, Start Up PH, Five Breakups and a Romance, and the hit film Hello, Love, Again with Kathryn Bernardo.
