WATCH: Trailer for 'Someone, Someday' starring Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid is out now
The teaser trailer for Someone, Someday is here, marking Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid's TV comeback.
In the one-minute clip shared by Dreamscape Entertainment, it introduced KathReid's characters as childhood best friends.
“Life isn’t always easy…we all need someone para mas masaya ang buhay. And some come with secrets,” the voiceover said. Kathryn's character is an inspiring girl boss, while James' character is a musician.
The happy atmosphere shifted when Maja Salvador's character, who looks to be under the care of an orphanage or non-government institution, appeared. She later met Kathryn's character, whom she idolizes.
Kathryn’s voiceover later said, “Pero may mga tao hindi nagpapakita ng totoo. They just want to destroy us.” It later showed blurry clips of photos of them together, as well as Kathryn's pictures and collection of belongings, seemingly owned by Maja, who showed a sinister smirk.
The teaser also showed other cast members Dimples Romana, Rita Avila, Ryan Eigenmann, Jake Ejercito, Kat Galang, Gela Atayde, and Rowell Santiago.
The upcoming teleserye is directed by Chad Vidanes and Dolly Dulu. More details about the plot and exact release date in 2026 have yet to be announced.
This also marks the first time that Kathryn and James are starring together in a teleserye. Kathryn's last TV show was 2 Good 2 Be True with Daniel Padilla in 2022, while James' last teleserye was Till I Met You with Nadine Lustre in 2016.
This is also Maja's TV return after her last starring role in The Killer Bride in 2019.
