‘Love is patient’: Mark Leviste posts photo with Kris Aquino after breakup confirmation
Mark Leviste shared a snap with Kris Aquino after the latter announced a pause in their relationship due to her health condition.
In his Instagram stories on Tuesday, July 11, the vice governor of Batangas posted their photo with the bible verse 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
“It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth,” it read. “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
“Love never fails,” it added.
This comes after the “Queen of All Media” confirmed their past relationship, which she unfortunately had to put on pause because of her current situation in the United States.
“Nobody I’ve ever been in a relationship with has ever given me as much love and encouragement. He wasn’t only my boyfriend, he became my best friend and confidante, talagang maaasahan,” she wrote in her “long overdue gratitude post” for Mark on Monday, July 10, noting that she correctly used “was” in her post.
Aside from her health condition, which she said “has gotten progressively worse,” the multimedia personality also pointed out how difficult it can be to maintain a long-distance relationship, given that he also has duties to fulfill as a politician in the Philippines. “Our reality is that there’s a Pacific Ocean that divides us, a 15-hour time difference, and a 13-hour flight,” she said, adding that he will always have a place in her heart.
“We may not have had our ‘happily ever after’ but being sick has really taught me to look at the glass half full—thank you for giving me the chance to again experience the magic of Once Upon a Time,” she concluded.
Kris and Mark sparked dating rumors after the politician posted about welcoming 2023 with her in the United States. The actress has been undergoing treatment for her five autoimmune diseases since June 2022.
