Ate Gay says neck and nose lumps have disappeared amid cancer treatment
Ate Gay shared a positive development on his cancer treatment.
In a Facebook post on Monday, June 29, the comedian, whose real name is Gil Aducal Morales, shared that the lumps on his neck and nose have disappeared.
"Ang ganda ng Doktora ko oh (Dra Jaime Fernandez) at magandang balita wala na akong bukol sa ilong at leeg result ng MRI yeheyyyy. Thank you Lord Jesus," he captioned his post.
Morales added that he only has four sessions of immunotherapy left, which is equivalent to 21 days.
He then thanked supporters who helped him and prayed for him, "Salamat po sa Dasal at sa mga Anghel ko."
In September 2025, Morales disclosed in an episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" that he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and that blessings have been pouring in for him.
A month later, the 54-year-old shared that the massive lump on his neck has begun to shrink after being subjected to radiation therapy for three days.
As per Healthline, Stage 4 cancer is an "advanced cancer that has spread beyond its original location to other organs or distant parts of the body."
Treatments include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or hormone therapy intended to slow cancer growth, ease symptoms, and improve quality of life.
