Vlogger Jeraldine Blackman opened up about the loss of her biological father, whom she saw only last July after more than 20 years. He died on Christmas Day.

In an Instagram video on Monday, Dec. 29, the social media personality can be seen crying as she announced the death of her dad Francisco Dispo.

"Life sucks so much," she said. "My father that I've only seen in July, that I hadn't met for more than 20 years, just passed away on Christmas Day."

"I don’t have memories with my father. I wish I was able to get to know him better," she continued.

In the caption of her post, she wrote how hard it was to share the news. "I’m so hurt so much and I have so many regrets in life! I wish I cuddled him longer and I wish I said I love you to him."

In a separate video, she recounted that her father wasn't present in her life since childhood.

"I did see him one day, probably around 12 years old during a court hearing. I did meet him again once during my university days and that's it," she said.

She also shared that it's her personal choice not to break the news to her kids Jeronimo, 7, and Jeorjette, 5, as they are still young.

"I am not yet going to tell them about him. Maybe one day," she added. "I told myself I [was] going to introduce and let the kids know about him when they are older."

Jeraldine, who is based in Australia, said she will fly to the Philippines in a few days to see her father for the last time.

The vlogger began creating content in 2022, sharing glimpses of her life with The Blackman Family and their lighthearted moments, including skits and pranks online. As of writing, their page has garnered 6 million followers on Facebook, 3.1 million on Instagram, and 3.7 million on Tiktok.

She and her former husband Joshua Blackman met in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. They separated in February and are now in a co-parenting setup. She said that no third party was involved in the split.
