Ellen Adarna reveals she had nose botox during her active years in showbiz
Ellen Adarna revealed she underwent nose botox when she was still active in showbiz.
The 35-year-old actress had a question-and-answer session with her Instagram followers on Sunday, Sept. 3. In one of her IG stories, a social media user wrote: "I saw some vid [kasi] sa YouTube, nag-nose botox ka pala. Akala ko natural ang nose mo."
Ellen admitted she did have a nose botox when she was taking part in acting projects in the local entertainment scene. According to her, it helped a lot with crying scenes where the camera was mostly zoomed in on her face.
"What botox does sa nose, it doesn't make your nose flare like this, and when I was still active. Of course, you're in front of the camera, the close up, when you cry... nag-isngag imung ilong," she said.
The local star, later on, clarified that she still has her "natural" nose. "My nose has never been under the knife, no cuts and what so ever. This is my natural nose," she continued, noting that nose botox is not permanent and she hasn't done it in a while.
Ellen began her showbiz hiatus in 2017. She took a break from acting in the same year when she was rumored to be pregnant with her four-year-old son Elias, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz. The celebrity couple called it quits two years later.
In a previous interview with PhilSTAR L!fe, Ellen opened up about experiencing major growth in the past few years since the start of her showbiz break.
"This has always been the life that I always prayed for. I’m at peace with myself and my temperament. But if I didn’t have a rough, colorful, wild 20s, I wouldn’t be here, too, so I appreciate the past na magulo and now at peace. Hindi ko naman ma-appreciate kung peaceful naman lahat 'di ba, dapat may balance," she said.
