John Legend to serenade Manila this September
A night of soulful music is coming to Rockwell.
John Legend, the Grammy-winning artist behind All of Me, is set to serenade fans in the Philippines with a two-night concert on Sept. 3 and 4, 2026 at the Proscenium Theater in Makati.
"Hear every piano key, witness all his emotions, and get ready for an unforgettable evening of songs and stories in a beautifully intimate setting," the Proscenium Theater wrote in a post announcing the show.
Details such as the seat plan and ticket prices have yet to be announced, but tickets will go on sale on July 5.
Currently, the singer is on his "Evening with John Legend" tour, which has stops in European countries this July before heading to the US in August and to Doha, Qatar in September.
Legend, a singer-songwriter, pianist, and record producer, is known for his hits All of Me, Ordinary People, Love Me Now, Green Light, Tonight (Best You Ever Had), and Glory. He also worked as a pianist or backing vocalist for other popular artists like Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z, and Alicia Keys. Throughout his career, he has achieved EGOT status, winning an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) as a producer for Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert in 2018, 13 Grammys, one Oscar for Best Original Song for Glory with Common in 2014, and a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play as a co-producer of Jitney in 2017.
The Proscenium Theater is located at Rockwell Center, Makati. It offers an intimate viewing experience with only 780 seats in the main hall.
