TRENDING: Chappell Roan demands apology from photographer who was allegedly rude to her

Chappell Roan caused a stir during Olivia Rodrigo's Guts World Tour movie premiere when she demanded an apology from a photographer who had allegedly been "disrespectful" and "rude" to her at this year's Grammys.

In videos circulating online, the singer-songwriter can be seen posing for pictures on the red carpet of Rodrigo‘s concert film premiere before pointing a finger at one of the photographers.

"You were so disrespectful to me at the Grammys," Roan claimed as she walked up to him.

"You yelled at me at the Grammy party. Yes, I remember. You were so rude to me. And I deserve an apology for that. You need to apologize to me," she demanded.

It was unclear, however, whether she got her apology as another person from her team intervened and guided her away from the scene before the clip ended.

The incident came a month after Roan had a similar incident with a photographer on the red carpet of the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year.

Based on a video capturing the tense moment, a photographer was heard saying "shut the f**k up," which quickly triggered the music artist.

"You shut the f**k up," Roan told him. "Don’t. Not me, b*tch."

However, another angle obtained by British outlet Metro revealed that the lensman was actually saying, "I’m not going to shut the f**k up, she missed her spot." He pointed out that Roan missed her mark for pictures.

Roan previously opened up about battling severe depression in recent weeks amid her rapid rise to fame.

She admitted how "it’s really hard to keep up" and how she copes "how anyone would" with catching up to fandoms, performances, and an intense virality.

"I’m in therapy twice a week. I went to a psychiatrist last week because I was like, I don’t know what’s going on. She diagnosed me with severe depression, which I didn’t think I had because I’m not actually sad, but I have every symptom of someone who’s severely depressed," she said in an interview with The Guardian.

Roan is known for the hits Casual, HOT TO GO!, Good Luck, Babe!, among others.
