Maymay Entrata decries video comparing boyfriend to 'Tinder Swindler' Simon Leviev: 'Wag niyo sanang hintayin na aabot tayo sa husgado'

Maymay Entrata is making it clear: her boyfriend is not the Netflix-famous scammer.

Taking to Twitter, the actress shared a video of the claims and dubbed it as "fake news" before threatening to take legal action if the video is not taken down.

"Kapag di nyo po buburahin at patuloy nyo pong pag s-spread ng false information para manira ng buhay ng ibang tao, wag nyo na po sanang hintayin na aabot tayo sa husgado. Maraming salamat po," she wrote.

The video in question accused Maymay's new boyfriend and 'Tinder Swindler' Simon Leviev of being one and the same. The thumbnail shows the words "scammer" and calls him a "fake".

In case you didn't know, Simon Leviev made waves when Netflix released the documentary The Tinder Swindler which reveals how the conman pulled scams on Tinder to steal millions of dollars from his matches.

Since the actress' Twitter call-out, the video has since been deleted.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old revealed her new beau through a Valentine's Day Instagram post of the two cuddling up in the snow.

"Happy Birthday my Valentino," she wrote.

Maymay has yet to share the name of her partner, though a solo photo of the star taken a few weeks prior to the reveal mentions someone named "Aaron."

Fellow celebrities such as Maris Racal, Luis Manzano, and Liza Soberano expressed their support for the actress.
