Ex-housekeeper sues Kylie Jenner, employers for alleged discrimination
A former housekeeper is suing Kylie Jenner and her employers over alleged harassment and discrimination.
According to PEOPLE magazine, Angelica Vazquez filed a lawsuit on Apr. 17 against the socialite and two companies, Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services, alleging she was "treated with hostility and exclusion" during her tenure from September 2024 to August 2025.
Vasquez said she was "subjected to severe and pervasive harassment" by fellow employees and the head housekeeper while working at Jenner's Hidden Hills residence.
She claimed that she was assigned the most difficult tasks, exclued from the housekeeping team, publicly humiliated in front of coworkers and was subject to intimidation and demeaning treatment.
Vasquez, who hails from El Salvador and a practicing Catholic, claimed "repeated discriminatory and derogatory comments" were made about her religion and immigration status. There was supposedly no corrective action and that her "complaints were dismissed, mocked or ignored."
The lawsuit also alleged violence in March 2025, when "a supervisor threw hangers at [her] feet while reprimanding her." From there, she allegedly "developed anxiety, severe stress, and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder" and lost her wages after making complaints.
Vazquez said she took medical leave in July 2025 and "had no choice but to resign" the following month.
The complaint is seeking damages "in the form of unpaid wages, meal and rest period premium pay, unreimbursed business expenses, unpaid sick leave, and all other compensation unlawfully withheld."
Jenner and the companies have not yet issued a statement as of writing.
