Andi Eigenmann and her family are headed back to Siargao after Typhoon Odette: 'Adieu to city life!'
Almost three months away from the island after the devastation of Typhoon Odette, Andi Eigenmann and her family are making their way back to their home in Siargao.
In a series of updates via Instagram and their Happy Islanders YouTube channel, the Alipayo-Eigenmann family have shared their travels to the island and vacation stopovers along the way.
On Feb. 20, Eigenmann announced their return with adorable shots of baby Lilo amid the backdrop of a city skyline. "Last series of snaps with this concrete jungle as background," the actress wrote.
"I know the scenic coconut trees will still not be as lush and green as it used to be, but to us, there's just no place like home."
The family's Siargao home was devastated by the supertyphoon Odette in late December. Eigenmann and her children were in Manila at the time on a short vacation before they ended up staying until this late February.
Her husband, Philmar Alipayo, stayed behind to cater to their home while she, Ellie, Lilo, and Koa stayed with her mother, Jacyln Jose, during the holidays.
Eigenmann has been regularly her Instagram with updates on their travels. On March 1, she shared that they had left Manila to go on a "family adventure."
"We have bid adieu to City life! This family adventure we are currently on has been a special one," Eigenmann shared with photos of the kids restfully enjoying their flight.
Alipayo also shared photos of the family enjoying a quick getaway in Aloha Beach House in Mati, Davao Oriental with the caption: "Vacay mode Day 1."
As for their latest pitstop, Eigenmann took to Instagram to share they had made a stopover in Cebu "before our adventure officially began."
