Once a queen, always a queen!
Catriona Gray made the rounds online for her reaction after the Top 16 candidates were revealed at the 71st Miss Universe pageant on Sunday, Jan. 15 (Philippine time).
Following the announcement, our Miss Universe 2018 sent words of encouragement to countries who felt disappointed that their bet did not advance further in the competition. "Guys you are not alone, Philippines, Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia—I know you might be feeling a little bit of disappointment right now but we always have next year," she said.
Many were reassured by the beauty queen's words and expressed their gratitude for her efforts to uplift the spirits of others. "Thank you for the words of comfort to the countries who don’t make it especially our dear Ms. Philippines," one user commented on Facebook.
