Kanye West accuses Kim Kardashian of trying to 'kidnap' one of their kids
Kanye West has been having quite a messy divorce with Kim Kardashian. Just recently, the rapper accused his ex-wife of kidnapping Chicago—one of their kids.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, West wrote: “What do you mean by main provider? America saw you try to kidnap my daughter on her birthday by not providing the address.”
“You put security on me inside of the house to play with my son then accused me of stealing. I had to take a drug test after Chicago’s party cause you accused me of being on drugs,” he claimed.
In a video statement released in January, Ye talked about how Kardashian didn’t invite him to Chicago’s birthday party and proceeded to thank Travis Scott—who just welcomed his second child with Kardashian’s half-sister Kylie Jenner—for giving him the details.
His “kidnapping” accusation came after Kardashian took a swipe at Ye for complaining about their daughter North West being on TikTok. She also claimed that she is the “main provider and caregiver for our children.”
“I am doing my best to protect our daughter, while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision, because it brings her happiness,” she wrote in her Instagram stories.
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all,” she added.
Kardashian filed for divorce from West in Feb. 2021, after almost seven years of marriage. They also have two sons named Saint and Psalm.
