Social media users praised the new noontime show It's Your Lucky Day! for being inclusive, after TV Host Luis Manzano conversed with a hearing-impaired audience using sign language in one episode.

On its Pangmaluckcashan segment last Oct. 16, Luis shared that he noticed a member of the audience, Lester, who he assumed had a hearing impairment.

"Bago ang lahat, direk, direk sorry kasi gusto ko lahat ng ka-Lucky natin involved. May tumatawag sakin kanina pa na isa pang ka-Lucky natin na kung di ako nagkakamali, medyo may konting problema po sa pandinig," he said while walking towards Lester.

Luis was not sure if Lester was completely deaf or slightly deaf, but he still communicated using sign language and even encouraged him to dance.

"Hi Lester. Hi! Ako si Luis. Kanina kasi joke tayo, ito ngayon gusto mo sumayaw? So ito, ikaw, pwede ka sumayaw," he said.

Lester began dancing before the beat dropped as Luis cheered. After this, the noontime host gave Lester P1,000 for sharing his talent at the noontime show.

Social media users lauded Luis for including and communicating with Lester.

"I'm Impressed, marunong palang mag sign language si Luis Manzano. Kailan kaya siya nag start mag aral mag sign language? Smart talaga si Luis Manzano," said one social media user on Facebook.

"I hope to see more of this on TV. Sana even on shows kahit noon time or pre-noontime meron na din sign language translator sa baba ng frame para lahat maka enjoy ng shows," an X (formerly Twitter) user wrote.

"Wow.. Grabe,, ang husay ng ginawang iyan ni Luis. Sobrang nkakabilib, goosebump. Respeto at kalinga sa mga tao na may munting kapansana," another social media user also commented.

Meanwhile, others noted the importance of the inclusion of sign language in the basic education curriculum. Some also wished to make It's Your Lucky Day a regular show.

"Dapat talagang maging part ng basic education curriculum ang sign language. Once a week during English and/or Filipino subjects," said one user.

"Sana gawing regular show to. Good vibes lang. I love the host," another one said.

It’s Your Lucky Day is a replacement for ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime, after the latter was suspended for 12 days by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

It features fresh game-and-variety segments hosted by Luis Manzano, Robi Domingo, Jennica Garcia, Melai Cantiveros, and other "special co-hosts and celebrity guests."
